By train

If you arrive by train at Matabiau Railway Station, please take subway Line A (in the direction of Basso Cambo) to Capitole Square (Place du Capitole). This is two stations from the station Marengo-SNCF.
Subway tickets can be bought at all subway stations and cost 1.20 Euro per journey. The subway system operates from 5.15 in the morning to midnight, Monday to Thursday, and from 5.15 to 0.42 on Friday and Saturday. Trains run every 6 minutes at off-peak times and every 1min.20 at peak times.

By car

If you arrive by car, please take the ring road or ‘périphérique’, and exit at Ponts Jumeaux-Amidonniers (Exit number 30).
Please note that parking is rather difficult in the city centre. The “Parking” Arnaud Bernard” car park is 5 minutes’ walk from the University.

By plane

If you arrive by air, please note that you will fly over the city centre before landing, and if you are lucky, you'll see why Toulouse is called the ‘pink city’. At the airport, shuttle buses leave for the city centre every 20 minutes. The shuttle bus has three stops which correspond to the three underground stations: Compans Caffarelli; Jeanne D’arc; and Jean Jaures. Compans Caffarelli is the nearest stop to the University. The shuttle bus costs 4 €.

The Taxis

There are taxi ranks in the Place du Capitole, Place Wilson, Matabiau SNCF railway station and at Toulouse-Blagnac airport. From the airport to the center of the city a taxi will cost you approximately 25 €.
